Braided Knit Rug
Handwoven in chunky braids, our rug gets its supersoft feel and subtle abrash colour from thick, wool-blend yarns. The classic weave lends lush texture and a versatile backdrop to your space.
- Hand woven from 70% wool and 30% polyester.
- A yarn-dyed rug has incredibly rich colour that holds its vibrancy over time.
- Backing is made of recycled cotton with synthetic latex.
- Synthetic latex provides a more durable and flexible backing that reduces odor and extends the rug's life. It does not present a risk to those with latex allergies and can be safer for people who are allergic to proteins.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Vacuum regularly on a low powered setting, using a vacuum without a beater brush, to prevent debris from settling into the roots of the fibres. For best results, vacuum from different directions, making several passes over the area.
- Spot clean. Remove soil with a soft brush. Remove spills immediately; If liquid, blot with a clean undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard to remove stains, professional cleaning is recommended.
- Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles.
- Natural fibres can become dry and brittle over time with use and may crack or break off, resulting in shedding. Shedding of loose fibres is also normal with new rugs and a natural result of being handmade, shedding should diminish with regular vacuuming and proper care.
- Do not pool loose ends. Clip them with scissors to remove.
- Due to the natural fibres and craftsmanship, minor imperfections may appear in the weave. These are not defects but common occurrences in items of this nature.
- To protect your investment, we recommend using a rug pad. A rug pad provides traction between the rug and floor to prevent slipping. It adds padding and keeps the rug smooth and flat. Extending the life of the rug, a pad protects the backing and prevents any possible colour transfer.
- Caution: Use vacuum cleaner without beater brush as it may cause damage.
- Rotate or reposition your rug and/or rug pad every 3 to 6 months. This will aide in a more uniform floor surface patina and decrease the likelihood of the rug pad or exposed backing adhering to the floor surface where they are placed. Rotating your rug will promote even wear on the surface and extend the life of the rug.
- Do not place rugs on hardwood floors that have not had time to completely cure.

Standard Parcel Shipping with Front Door Delivery
Smaller items are shipped using our Standard Parcel service, and delivered by Canada Post or Purolator. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. If your package cannot be delivered, you will receive a notice from the carrier with pick-up instructions or re-delivery options.
Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping with In-Home Delivery & Assembly
An unlimited number of eligible furniture items can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address. These items will be delivered by our In-Home Delivery & Assembly service provider where items are brought into your home, unpacked and assembled (some exclusions apply) and the packaging is responsibly removed.

Eligible items can be exchanged for a refund of the merchandise value within 30 days of receiving an order or 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery items.
